Today was pretty much a normal day here in London. The day started off with walking class. Today we went through Green Park, St. James Park, past Buckingham Palace and then past the Churchill Museum before ending up at Trafalgar Square where we hopped on our tube home. It seems like a really long walk but it only took us a little over a half an hour. The only bummer about our walk this morning was that it was drizzling the entire time. Denise was going to let us just go home and not have to walk but we all decided to be troopers and take the walk anyway. Luckily the downpour hit once we had just gotten off our tube stop in Kilburn Park so we didn't have to walk very far in the pouring rain. We were all quite damp when we finally got home though. After eating some lunch I headed to the British Museum with the Art History class.
The British Museum is absolutely gigantic. I have never seen a museum that big in my life. We walked through it for 2 hours and hardly saw the entire thing. We passed tons of stuff which means we are going to have to go back again sometime. Plus while we were there I was not feeling to wonderful so I wasn't enjoying it as much as I probably will another time. I was utterly exhausted from this entire week and had not been getting enough sleep but once we got back from the museum I took a nice long nap and am feeling much more refreshed now!
When I woke up Jeana and I started planning out our weekend and the weekends we plan to take trips. It was a bit overwhelming because we plan to go to several places and we just don't seem to have enough time here to do everything we want, but we are slowly figuring it all out. We are quite excited about the weekend we have planned but I'll be writing about that after we have had all our fun :)
This evening since none of us were really feeling our best a few of us girls stayed in and watched a movie together...Rendition. It was really pretty good and we had fun hanging out and just relaxing. Now I'm off to get a good nights rest to be ready for a full weekend of fun things planned ahead! I'm excited to share all my weekend fun later! :)
