Its almost hard to believe that in 15 days I will be on a flight to London and ready to start the adventure of a lifetime. In order to make sure that I don't forget any of the great memories, I plan to blog whenever I get a chance! I'm hoping this will be an easy way for friends and family to share in this experience with me and keep up-to-date on my latest travels!
The next two weeks are going to be gone before I know it, which means I really need to start packing! (I'm sure that will be an adventure of its own.) September 7th is our departure date. We will be flying out of Indy to O'Hare and then from O'Hare to Heathrow in London where we are set to arrive at 6:50 a.m. When we first arrive in London there will only be a four hour time difference, so I'm hoping jet lag won't be too terrible! With all the excitement of finally being in London, I don't think I'm going to have to worry about jet lag too much.
Two more weeks of work and getting ready and then its time for the trip of a lifetime to begin! I have looked forward to studying abroad since I can remember and its about to become a reality :) I can't wait!
Mary Beth we will be following your blog. Have a great year. Enjoy it as I am sure it will pass too quickly. Mike's cousin was a nurse over there for a couple years. She enjoyed the experience.Best look up the terms for car parts as such things as bonnet. I have read some books about adventures in England and know that they have different words than we do. One I was surprised at was a diaper there is called a nappie I think. Let us know some of these words too. Love you and are praying for you. Bonnie_Mike Bailey
